Trust media
Heritage, proof, and local credibility.
The old links page becomes context people can actually use: who built this gym, why it matters, and what kind of boxing culture you're walking into.
Founder's record
Richard Lord built this gym from real boxing history.
Richard Lord came to Austin in 1974, won the 1979 and 1980 Golden Gloves Championships here, turned pro, and spent decades training fighters and everyday Austinites in the same gym culture.
Competitive proof
Victories in competition and personal fitness.
The legacy site wasn't bluffing. Lord's Gym built a reputation through real coaching results, including training world-class fighters like Jesus “El Matador” Chavez.

Austin community
An Austin landmark, not a copy-paste fitness concept.
From Richard Lord Day to the gym's role in advancing women's boxing in Austin, the point is simple: this place has roots, not branding theater.
